Sorry this is late going up. It has been mad around here lately and I’m not sure if I’m coming or going some days.
It was hard to pick 2 new designers as everyone that entered were great but we have gone with……
Lynette was a guest designer for Little Shop for a month. Here is a little about her…
Hello, my name is Lynette Jacobs. I live in Port Elizabeth on the east coast of South Africa. I have been married to Kobus for the past 30 years and we have three grown children. We have also been blessed with four beautiful grandchildren…who are also the subject of most of my scrapping.
My husband and I founded a non-profit organization that provides for the needs of nearly 500 homeless and poor people whom we house at the Mission. This work is very stressful and emotional and scrapbooking provides me with much needed stress-relief. I started scrapbooking three years ago and was instantly hooked. I love that my hobby can give me so much pleasure and at the same time create a legacy for my children and grandchildren.
I seldom do any off the page projects and prefer pages that can be slipped into my albums.

Here is a little about Pearl….
My name is Pearl and I’m a SAHM to 2 wonderful children, living in Sunny Singapore. I first started scrapbooking after my wedding in 1993 , without using any acid free products .There were very few acid free products available then here . Needless to say , that album is now yellow with age ! After the birth of our daughter in 1995, I started cardmaking via punchart and acquired the tools , punches and papers in the hopes that they would be useful for my kids at the right age. Well, I’m still the main user of all that product and tools ! From 2006, onwards ,there was such a shift in products available in the papercraft industry and I started using more scrapbooking products in my cardmaking. Magazines and on-line galleries were full of inspiration, so by October 2006 I started scrapbooking again and have never looked back since.
Some of my best memories on my scrapbooking adventures include being the first International Guest Designer to be featured on the Prima Blog , getting on round 2 of the Magistical Memories’ Chipboard Artist DT call, winning first prize in a Glitz Design contest -prize included US$500 worth of Glitz Design products and my winning layout being displayed at CHA Summer 2008.
Welcome to Little Shop guys. It’s nice to have you on board for the next 6 months.

Sorry for the delay in posting this fortnights sketch and layouts. We are a little on the lite side with layouts this fortnight as we have had two design team members leave the new design team starts next fortnight.
I will add another post with the new designers so watch this space.
On the 26th of August Little Shop of Sketches goes weekly so be sure to check us out weekly rather than fortnightly. I am glad we are back doing weekly sketches and will get me scrapping more to.

This fortnight we welcome Gabrielle Pollacco as our guest designer.
Here is a little about her……..
My name is Gabrielle Pollacco, and I was introduced to scrapbooking about 6 years ago and fell in love with this art form immediately. First and foremost, I love that I can keep a record of my family’s history in such a beautiful way. And who doesn’t love playing with all the new and beautiful products that keep coming on the market!! I’ve been published in Creating Keepsakes Magazine, Memory Makers Magazine and Scrapbooking & Beyond and am presently on the Design Team for My Creative Scrapbook and Zva Creative. When I’m not working away at my design team work you can find me creating ’pretty things’ for scrap pages at my etsy site ‘Gabrielle’s Tiny Treasures’ http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7145964&ga_search_query=GabriellePollacco&ga_search_type=seller_usernames I worked as a Project Manager for a Trade Show Design company before I had my two beautiful little girls and now am a busy “stay at home mom” who has plenty of time to scrap thanks to my dear husband who enables me in my scrapbook habit….errr, hobby!!

We are changing the way we do Little Shop and this will be announced next fortnight.

Sorry for the delay for posting this today. I am not well and the doctor has told me to stay home in quarantine. I have the flu but not sure what type of flu. Not feeling the best.
